Let our caregivers into your home so we can make your life better. Age comes with challenges and everyone could benefit from a pair of helping hands. Unfortunately, many of our clients contact us too late. Uncovered care needs may have drained them or their family of energy and inspiration. A fall may have demobilized them and needlessly lowered their quality of life. No longer do they feel safe.
Almost everyone wants to age in his or her own home, but we postpone the changes needed to make this possible. No matter what modern media tells us, 65 will never be the new 45. We think we are expected to be self-reliant well past the age when only in-home assistance can assure the independence and dignity all seniors seek.
Your personal nurse
Let Astera Care’s caregivers show you just how much easier and nicer we can make your life. We know that you do not easily invite strangers into your home – that you want to be in charge of what happens to you. We are not here to place another burden on you. We are here to give you the assistance and peace of mind you and your family deserve.
Our memberships come with a set amount of caregiver hours per month. Together with your personal nurse, you will schedule when you want to use these hours. It can be for help around the house, for companionship or meal preparation. It can be for grocery shopping or running errands. Maybe you want us to drive you somewhere. This is up to you. These are your hours and you use them as you wish. Our caregivers are flexible and understanding.
A break for family caregivers
Many of our clients receive valuable care from family members. By letting Astera Care be a part of your team, your helpers can take a well-deserved break when Astera Care is there.
Through your membership, you also get access to buy 50-hour packages of Astera Care. These are additional hours to supplement your membership. They never expire and – as always with Astera Care – you can use them for exactly the services you want, when you need them. Schedule the extra hours when your nurse visits, or push The Concierge Companion and tell us how we may help you.
Night and day
All the services on our Astera Care Menu have the same prices. One hour is one hour, if it is help with hygiene or a ride to town. When a need arises, push the button on your Concierge Companion. We will schedule a caregiver for later, or if we can, find a solution right away.
We charge a minimum of one hour from your Astera Account to come to your home. Past the first hour, we charge in increments of 15 minutes. Between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., we charge double for unscheduled services. That means that one hour of Astera Care at 3 a.m., will cost two hours from your Astera Account.
Exactly what you want
We will assist you in attaining all necessary in-home help. By picking from our Astera Care Plus Menu, you can have doctors, physical therapists and other medical professionals come to your home. We can arrange massage, beauty service and personal training. Let us know what you want, and we will do our very best to get exactly that for you.
The services on the Astera Care Plus Menu will be charged with more than one hour from your Astera Account.
